Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore was a Hollywood actor and author for a long time. Her work is also highly praised by reviewers. She's the daughter of a Sagittarius born on December 3, 1960, in North Carolina. She's the eldest child of Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper and Anne, a psychology student. She has English and Scottish heritage. Moore was often in and out of her family due to the duties of her father. This was a challenge to make or maintain new friends. Moore was able to start acting in plays as she travelled with her family members to Germany. Her education continued at Boston University where she graduated in 1983, with a B.F.A. In 1983 she graduated with the degree of B.F.A. Moore's career began in New York with Off-Broadway Theater after graduation. In an episode of The Edge of Night in 1985, Moore appeared in her first appearance on the screen. The break came in 1986 when she played the roles of Sabrina Hughes as well as Frannie Hughes in The World Changes. This show lasted until 1988 when she was awarded the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 she made her cinematic debut in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie which she later described as a terrible low-budget film. She appeared in Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both produced by Robert Altman. The former was critically acclaimed and she earned several nominations for it. Moore's first leading role was on screen in Safe (1995). In 1997, her career as an actress was at a crossroads when Steven Spielberg cast her to be the main character in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which became the highest grossing film of 1997. She received an SAG Award for her performance in Magnolia. The Hours was her co-starring performance in 2002. it won nine Academy Awards nominations, including Nicole Kidman. Moore has also starred in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. Non-Stop was her film from 2014. Moore is an established star in numerous television and film series. Most recently, she was in starring roles is In 2022, After You Finish Securing the World. She's established herself in Hollywood and is a successful children's book author. In 2007 she released Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became an N.Y.T. best-seller resulting in it being made into a series and a musical. The book she wrote in 2013 titled My Mom is A Foreigner, was also a bestseller. Moore, as a very accomplished author and actor, has made her personal life known to the world. She divorced John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich and Moore had two children. Moore is an individual who is devoted to her career and family.
